Originally from South Carolina, Cathy pursued a career as a Certified Personal Trainer after finding that fitness training was a natural (and fun!) alternative to medication for controlling her own hypertension. Cathy has worked in the healthcare industry for over a decade and continues to gain knowledge on chronic diseases, special populations and injury prevention, which she uses in serving her personal training and performance coaching clients. Since many adult health problems develop from poor habits during youth, Cathy developed a passion for educating and training kids and teens, which leads right into her work with Cardio Kool Kids. She also has a special interest in teaching low income families how to prepare healthy meals and stay fit on a tight budget. Cathy lives with her family in the East Cobb community, where she trains clients of all shapes and ages at Fit For Life and also works with athletes in travel/club sports and company dance.
